NFL Week 10 - 10 Thoughts

10. Mike Smith has massive.....

It takes a lot of guts to go for it on fourth down on your own 30 in overtime. It didn't work out but credit to him for realizing that stopping the Saints offense probably wasn't going to happen. I may recommend a QB sneak next time though.

9. Andy Dalton has a bright future

Sure the Bengals lost, but Dalton did well against one of the best defenses in the league, and without his top WR for most of the game. Things are looking good for the Bengals in the future.

8. DeMarco Murray could be the next big thing

Just check out the numbers he put up the last few weeks. And check out what he did at Oklahoma. This kid is for real and if the Cowboys offensive line can produce just a couple of holes, he will lead the Cowboys back to the playoffs.

7. Peyton Manning is the greatest player of all-time

What do you think the Colts record would be with Manning at QB? My guess is 7-3.

6. Best trade idea this year: Colts trade #1 pick to Redskins for entire draft

Redskins get their franchise QB in Luck. Colts get a few more weapons for Manning to take one last title run in his career.

5. The Eagles don't have players where it counts

You can have all the CB's and WR's in the world, but if you don't have an OL or LB's, you will not win in the NFL. They did not spend their money wisely.

4. The Baltimore Ravens are the biggest head scratcher in the NFL

You only play 16 games in an NFL season. It should not be that hard to get excited for a game. Especially when you have Ray Lewis, the world's best hype man.

3. The 49ers are for real

They can run, they have a decent passing game, and their defense is tremendous. Linebackers can win championships, we'll see if the Niners LB's can this year.

2. The Lions aren't ready yet

They are a great team, but they're not quite ready to make a run at it yet. Give them a year or two and they will be Super Bowl contendors. But not right now.

1. The Packers are the biggest lock for the Super Bowl since the 07-08 Patriots

They just hope it turns out better than it did for the Pats.
